				Austragungsmodus:
				Die NHL-Saison 2002/2003 ist die 86. Saison der nordamerikanischen National Hockey League (NHL).
				Während der Regular Season bestreitet jedes Team 82 Spiele.
				An den Playoffs nehmen aus jeder Conference die drei Divisionssieger sowie die fünf weiteren punktbesten Teams teil.
				Über Achtelfinale (Division-Halbfinale, Best of seven), Viertelfinale (Division-Finale, Best of seven),
				Halbfinale (Conference-Finale, Best of seven) und Finale (Best of seven) wird der Stanley Cup ausgespielt.
				Teilnehmer:
				In dieser Saison besteht die National Hockey League (NHL) aus 30 Teams.
				Die Eastern Conference ist in drei Divisionen unterteilt mit jeweils fünf Teams in der Atlantic Division, Northeast Division und Southeast Division.
				Die Western Conference ist in drei Divisionen unterteilt mit jeweils fünf Teams in der Central Division, Northwest Division und Pacific Division.
