Spielzeit 1949/1950:
Entscheidungsspiel um Platz 1 und 2 am 19.03.1950 in Döbeln: SG Mickten - BSG Fewa Chemnitz 1:0 ( : ).
Zur Spielzeit 1950/1951 wird unterhalb der DS-Oberliga eine DS-Liga mit zwei Staffel eingeführt. Die Staffeln spielen mit jeweils zehn Mannschaften. Die Fußball-Landesklasse ist somit die dritthöchste Spielklasse.
Die folgenden Begegnungen werden mit 0:0 Toren und 2-0 Punkten wegen einer Spielsperre von vier Spielen als Sieg für den Gegner von SG Leipzig-Leutsch gewertet: 
BSG Zellwolle Plauen - SG Leipzig-Leutzsch, SG Planitz - SG Leipzig-Leutzsch, SG Leipzig-Leutzsch - BSG Konsum Chemnitz und SG Leipzig-Leutzsch - ZSG Vorwärts Wurzen.
Die Begegnung BSG Pneumatik Aue - SG Markkleeberg wird mit 0:0 Toren und 0-2 Punkten als Sieg für SG Markkleeberg gewertet (ursprünglich: 5:2 ( : )).

Spielzeit 1951/1952:
Die Fußball-Landesklasse wird zur Spielzeit 1952/1953 als dritthöchste Spielklasse aufgelöst. Die sechs Länder der DDR werden in 15 Bezirke aufgeteilt. 
Das Land Sachsen teilt sich in die Bezirke Chemnitz, Dresden und Leipzig. Somit starten die Bezirksligen zur Spielzeit 1952/1953 als dritte Klasse.
