				Die erste Schach-Weltmeisterschaft der Frauen findet im Rahmen der ersten Schach-Olympiade statt.
				An der Weltmeisterschaft nehmen zwölf Spielerinnen teil:
				Die zwölf Teilnehmerinnen spielen jede gegen jeden, jeweils eine Partie. Die Siegerin des Turniers ist Weltmeisterin.
